Voices For Animals ~ Okinawa will notify the appropriate authorities to look into your complaint, to include off base animal welfare organizations that are authorized to investigate animal neglect/cruelty.

On Base:  It is much more efficient if you contact base authorities (the military police/security, veterinary clinic, etc) on your own... PROMPTLY, instead of waiting for a response from Voices For Animals.  A volunteer from our group would have to WITNESS the abuse/neglect/cruelty/abandonment for ourselves in order to report it under our names.   This is why, photos and/or videotape of the circumstances would be extremely helpful.  We will notify you promptly after receiving your complaint so that you know it has been received.
